A Campus Compact AmeriCorps Program
What is "Students in Service" (SiS)?
This is a Washington Campus Compact (WACC) AmeriCorps program that supports and promotes the engagement of higher education students in their communities by offering education awards to those who participate in community service, service learning, or civic engagement activities.
Types of Service:
Enrolled members can serve in positions that fit within any of the five focus areas identified by AmeriCorps. These are: education, the environment, human needs, public safety, and homeland security.
